Tasting Notes

Matured in 100% new oak, the 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has clean and pure blackberry and Bakewell tart aromas on the nose that gradually unfold. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, mineral-driven with fine tension and a keen line of acidity on the structured finish that just needs to manifest more persistence on the aftertaste. Otherwise, this is very fine. Drink 2020-2033.
