Chassagne Montrachet Morgeots, Domaine Fontaine Gagnard 2016

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeots has a well-defined bouquet with honeysuckle and candle wax aromas, good complexity but it will need more time. The palate is fresh on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, quite saline in the mouth with good depth. It might need to develop a tad more tension on the finish but it is a fine Chassagne that should give a decade's worth of pleasure.
