Latricières Chambertin, Maison Camille Giroud 2007

Tasting Notes

Moderate reduction knocks the nose down though there are hints of red pinot fruit and wet stone and this minerality also suffuses the middle weight, focused and delineated flavors that offer up good richness and purity of expression on the reserved and solidly persistent finish. This is ever so slightly lean at present though it should add weight with a few years in bottle. Drink: 2013+

A tight, linear style, with wild berry, cherry and herb notes around a mineral core. Firmly structured, with a sinewy profile and a dry finish. Best from 2013 through 2024. 225 cases made.
