The 2016 Pinot Noir Atticus John Sebastiano Vineyard bursts from the glass with an exuberant bouquet of red cherry, plum preserve, black figs, licorice, sweet spices, black tea and a generous application of creamy new oak. On the palate, the wine is ample and medium to full-bodied, with lovely energy and tension at the core despite its decadently ripe aromas, with its tannins fine-grained and its finish long and sappy.
