Tasting Notes

Outstanding Top value
This is really very pretty and while there is a hint of Gevrey-style animale character, the overall impression of the nose is one of understated refinement to the cool red and dark pinot fruit aromas cut with floral and plenty of earth and underbrush. The supple, round and delicious middle weight flavors evidence fine delineation and punch on the compact, intense, balanced and linear finish. This is very Gevrey in character and offers outstanding quality for a villages level wine, in no small part due to such a high proportion of 1er juice. Drink: 2017+
