Gevrey Chambertin, Philippe Pacalet 2017

Tasting Notes

While slightly riper, the nose remains cool and pure with its relatively airy aromas of earth, humus, underbrush and wild currant. There is a lovely mouth feel to the impressively rich, mouth coating and lightly mineral-inflected flavors that possess excellent depth for a villages level wine on the balanced and markedly firm finish. This is clearly built-to-age and is recommended on that basis. Note: from 6 different lieux-dits
