Chassagne Montrachet Caillerets, Paul Pillot 2016

Tasting Notes

An expressive if cool and beautifully complex nose combines notes of citrus zest, Granny Smith apples and white flowers with those of soft spice and oak nuances. There is outstanding delineation to the impressively intense flavors that are so mineral-driven that the mouth feel is like rolling small pebbles around in the mouth on the super-saline and dry finish. I very much like this plus it offers very fine upside development potential.
