Tasting Notes

A background application of wood is still present on the vaguely exotic aromas of dried pear, apple, white peach and quinine. There is both excellent delineation and punch to the notably saline-inflected flavors that possess good punch while retaining a lovely sense of refinement on the impressively complex and persistent finish. This is lovely juice that should age well over the mid to even longer-term. Drink 2029+.

Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, May 2018

An expansive nose with wet crushed stones and limes, lemons and white peaches, as well as gently spicy and nutty complexity. The palate has a very composed and mouthwateringly fresh core with a build to lime-flavored cream and very elegant yet rich resolve. Drink or hold.

**Note: from two separate parcels of vines, the larger of which is in the heart of the "amphitheater" from which the finest examples of Vaudésir originate**
