Chambertin, Chateau de Marsannay 2014

Tasting Notes

A beautifully fresh, airy, cool and pure nose offers up elegantly rendered dark currant aromas that are laced with wet stone, earth, game and discreet spice nuances. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the intense, precise and notably mineral-driven big-bodied flavors that terminate in a youthfully austere finish that displays lovely length if only average depth in the context of the appellation. This too will require patience.
