Tasting Notes

This property is fortunate enough to own 3.5ha in Cannubi, from which they make a traditionally aged wine. The nose is pure and perfumed, with sweet, heady raspberry aromas. Initially fresh and sleek, the palate soon reveals a firm tannic backbone, giving a robust and chewy mid-palate. A shorter than usual maceration was employed to avoid too much extraction. Good acidity and length. Drinking Window 2020 - 2032

Barolo. Tasted blind. Maturing mid ruby with narrow orange rim. Concentrated and ripe on the nose. Concentrated and a tiny bit jammy yet dry. Lovely chewy tannins and acidity that is initially a little tart. Slightly one dimensional but with proper length. Drink between 2018-2024
