Puligny Montrachet Perrières, Jacques Carillon 2017

Tasting Notes

The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières is excellent, displaying a classy bouquet of crisp white peach, pastry cream, beeswax and green apple, followed by a medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and broader, more concentrated profile than the Champ Canet, concluding with a long and chalky finish. The Réferts is a little more elegant, but this is a little more powerful.
