Chassagne Montrachet, Jacques Carillon 2017

Tasting Notes

The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Village, a cuvée produced from young vines that made its debut in the 2015 vintage and was entirely destroyed by 2016's frosts, makes a return to the lineup. Offering up notes of green orchard fruit, white flowers and ripe lemon, it's medium-bodied, chalky and succulent, with an open-knit profile and less concentration than the Puligny-Montrachet Village.
