Chassagne Montrachet Vergers, Domaine Ramonet 2014

Tasting Notes

There is a whiff of matchstick character to the ripe but cool and restrained notes of resin, citrus and pear-scented nose. The rich, caressing and intense middle weight flavors possess excellent mid-palate density while delivering fine depth and length on the well-balanced finale. This is clearly built-to-age but in contrast to the Chaumées, it should be approachable after only 4 to 5 years of bottle age.
