Dense and very layered with pretty, polished tannins and aromas and flavors of cherries, dried strawberries and hints of cedar. It’s full-bodied and intense. Drink after 2022.
A big step up from the 'normale', which is saying something as the 'normale' was so good! But this is another level - lots of jammy, ripe fruit that in no way feels overdone - it just feels like a bit of a treat to drink! Cherries, blackcurrants. There is a bucketload of acidity and tannin but everything knows its place and everything sits comfortably with each other. This is serious wine. Will need a few years - probably best from 2024 onwards.
