Tasting Notes

Forest floor, truffle and camphor mingle with whispers of violet and game on the nose. Combining old-school structure with finesse, the vibrant, intense palate delivers red cherry, cranberry, licorice and black tea framed in youthfully austere, noble tannins. Bright acidity keeps it balanced and energized. Drink 2026–2046.

Quite deep in colour compared to other wines we've tasted. Palate is replete with exotic spice and dark cherries. There is loads of structure in this wine - grippy tannins but the fruit is so pure and the texture so voluptuous that everything feels well proportioned and balanced. A totally delicious wine that clearly needs lots of time (2025+) but one that really will be fabulous when ready. Wow.
