Echézeaux, Domaine de la Romanée Conti 1988

Tasting Notes

Wonderfully complex nose with aromas of spice, tea and crushed dried roses followed by rich, detailed and relatively big flavors. Echézeaux often can be one of those wines that displays grand cru complexity and premier cru weight and a trace of finishing rusticity but this 88 is a big wine and every bit a true grand cru. Very impressive.
