Tasting Notes

(with thanks to Howard Camhi). There is a hint of menthol to the spicy if distinctly earthy red and dark berry fruit scents that display an elusive whiff of truffle. There is reasonably good density to the delicious and prominently mineral-driven middle weight flavors that retain a fine sense of delination on the moderately structured, intense and impressively long finish that exhibits very fine balance. This is still very clearly on the way up and while it is not so tanic that it couldn't be approached now I would certainly advise holding off opening any bottles for at least another two years. In a word, terrific.
