Beaune Coucherias, Labet 2015
Here the lightly menthol-inflected nose is aromatically quite similar to that of the Marconnets with perhaps just a bit more elegance and overall complexity. The superior depth also characterizes the even more refined palate impression despite possessing even better concentration that does a fine job of buffering the moderately firm and youthfully austere finale. This is really quite good though in this case it's likely going to require a few years of cellar time first before it's ready for prime time.
