As it almost always is this is the spiciest wine in the range with a lovely breadth of red and dark berry scents that blend with hints of earth and game. There is fine richness and volume to the full-bodied flavors where the sense of volume is enhanced by the solid mid-palate density. The fresh, energetic, firm and lingering finish possesses very good if not stunning complexity but it's entirely probable that more will develop with time in bottle.
