Tasting Notes

(Geltz-Zilliken Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese Auction) AP: 06 04. The very pale yellow-greenish-golden color already signals a fresh wine. And what attractive beauty this is! It offers delicate note of fresh mint, pear, mango, melon and pineapple and comes over as deliciously fresh and easy on the palate. A great touch of creamy beeswax comes through in the mouth-watering, even if still slightly sweet, finish. This is a gorgeously fresh Auslese and a great success in the vintage. Now-2033
