Chambolle Musigny Les Fuées, Domaine Perrot-Minot 2013

Tasting Notes

Here the spice and floral elements are more prominent with plenty of wet stone nuances adding interest to the mostly dark berry fruit scents. The stony character of the nose continues onto the vibrant, intense and beautifully delineated middle weight flavors that possess a positively gorgeous mouth feel that continues onto the stylish, balanced and strikingly long finish where a touch of youthful austerity is encountered. The Charmes is indeed a lovely wine but this is quite simply finer and classier.
