Tasting Notes

Bright and pale lemon in colour, this is highly aromatic with lemon verbena and an almost hoppy green note - it feels cool and mineral, more French than New Zealand in style. The palate has tang, pithiness and grip, the high acidity bringing mouth-watering citrus and a cool, stony profile. Zippy and linear, this precise and pure wine offers superb drinking now while that steely freshness is most evident.

Farr Vintners, Farr Tasting, October 2020

Intense yet elegant, varietal pure aromas of sweet citrus and white peach, fresh herbs of basil and sage, mineral and spices of lees and site. On the palate - equally intense and even more elegant with a core of citrus, tree and stone fruit flavours, moments of tropical fruit and plenty of fresh herbs. A fine texture is also at the core of this wine with plenty of acidity and mouthfeel adding length and finish. Well made and ready to enjoy from today and through 2025.
