AR was a huge fan of this, and declared it 'a star'. It's a very well-placed estate between Figeac and Cheval Blanc, farmed in a modified biodynamic way. There's always more Merlot than Cabernet Franc in the wine, but this does have some leafy, overt Cabernet Franc-like characters - good, ripe, juicy style with plenty of supple and voluptuous dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit. There's quite a lot of flattering spicy oak and real intensity from this proponent of the new wave style. 2008-2016
