Clos de la Roche, Lucien Le Moine 2014

Tasting Notes

This is all but aromatically mute as the restrained nose only reluctantly reveals sauvage and spice-inflected red and dark currant aromas that are trimmed in background nuances of earth. There is plenty of muscle and concentration to the bigger, richer and more powerful flavors that are more firmly structured but not necessarily longer or more complex on the balanced and robust finale. Patience will definitely be required here.
