Oranges, honey, marmalade and citrus on the nose with a hint of ginger too. Aromatic and powerful. A dense and weighty palate with mouthcoating sweetness. Treacle and citric fruits combine in perfect harmony. A backbone of focussed minerality cuts across the palate and lends lift and freshness. Plenty of ‘zingy’ tension. Long, clean, lingering and fresh on the end palate.
Slightly closed on the nose at the moment – some notes of acacia, poached peaches and apricots. Quite a compact style, with searing acidity. Lithe and mineral, with an almost dry perception on the finish thanks to so much acid. 2024 - 2038
