Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Emidio Pepe 2015

Tasting Notes

Beautifully aromatic, with a nose of honey, ripe fruit and spice, this graceful white offers a range of baked nectarine, lemon thyme, honeycomb and jasmine flavors, set on a finely knit, medium-bodied frame. Mouthwatering acidity and a chalky edge lend definition to the plush texture of the lasting finish. Drink now through 2025.

More broad-flavoured than their Pecorino – still with oxidative orange-peel character, but better balance of citrus and green apple. Nice vein of acidity, totally savoury on the finish. Mealy and serious.
