Based on Syrah with the remaining 29% made up of Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and a soupçon of Viognier, this deservedly successful Swartland red has built up a worldwide following. Aromatic and supple, it has notes of ginger spice and sweet red berry fruit, a patina of toasty oak and supple tannin. Drinkable young but will develop further in bottle. 2022-26
