Tasting Notes

½ bottle: dark red colour; the nose offers an air of blackberry coulis, sweet airs, tea leaves, bacon. The palate is just emerging, a blackberry flavour within cosy richness, notes of carbonic gas, a late blackcurrant leaf flavour. There are munchy, sunswept tannins. It’s not especially structured, gives pleasure, is vintage-led, persists with that vintage assertion, ending well, does have some local notes. “It’s a juicy vintage, with yield and quality”, Xavier Gérard. 14.5°. From 2023. 2037-39
