Tasting Notes

After a long period of being relatively restrained the nose is now quite open and expressive as it offers up lovely and now fully mature Vosne-style spice aromas that are at once elegant and pure. There is good vibrancy and detail to the delicious, detailed and lightly mineral-infused medium-bodied flavors that possess good richness and fine depth. I was clearly a bit too conservative in my early assessment of this wine and should continue to perform well for another decade as this is an exceptionally well-balanced and complex villages level wine.

Outstanding
Racy and spicy Vosne fruit with deep, rich, relatively dense flavors underpinned by solid structure and plenty of sappy extract. This finishes with flair and a dusty mouth feel. Beautiful Vosne villages.
