This is a blend of fruit from all three communes - Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. Beautiful dark, chewy fruit with a strong hint of chocolate. There is a woody, peppery spice that sits as a backdrop throughout and that carries the fruit to a soft finish. Tannins are present throughout but not overpowering. Lots of wine here - silky and sumptuous.
