Tasting Notes

This is an impressive wine in many ways. The nose is extremely alluring, with mint, oranges and Christmas spices. The palate is massive - a huge ball of ripe, sweet fruit sits in the middle of a rigid tannic structure. It has huge personality and buckets of potential but will need time for all these big facets to meld into one another.

Tank sample. Mid ruby. Hints of sweet oak spice and lovely ripe red fruits. Really scented and open. On the palate, richer than the Riva del Bric, more fruit depth to balance the tannins. Chewy, dry but not astringent. 2024-2032
