It sounds corny, but this really tastes of an abundance of sunshine, with super-ripe pineapple character. That’s beautifully supported by the mineral acidity, which keeps this as straight as a laser beam. Very polished finish that’s incredibly bright. First vintage of this wine! From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
Indice 1. From young vines replanted in 2013. Bright lemon colour with a full and ripe nose of golden apples, poached pears and candied citrus peel. This follows on the palate, which is dry, rich and full of ripe fruit. There is real extract here, bringing a pithyness against the glossy sheen of the fruit core. Long and broad with a lightly honeyed finish.
