This is a massively concentrated and enormously structured wine with so much smoke and spice, but there’s also so much rose aroma that it comes off as charming rather than imposing. And the giant freshness at the finish pulls you back for more of this astonishing gewurz. Beautifully integrated touch of sweetness. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
Indice 2. Bright golden colour. Essence of Gewurztraminer - flowers, lychee and hints of rose water. This is highly scented and aromatic. The palate offers more spice, with a peppery backdrop fro luscious fruit and full bodied power. This has real volume but only a hint of sweetness, it feels glossy and round rather than particularly led by sugar. Long, honeyed and rich to the finish.
