Tasting Notes

Soft, round, sweet red and black currant fruit intermixed with herb, damp earth and spice characteristics are present in this supple-textured, easygoing, medium-bodied 2008. Enjoy it over the next 6-8 years.

Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (194), May 2011

Bright medium red. Classic nose of cassis and graphite with a hint of cedar. Then sweet and fruity, with enticing ripe red cherry, smoky plum and Oriental spice flavors. A very stylish wine that finishes a touch tannic but long and smooth, with a hint of cracked black pepper.

Ian d'Agata, Wine Advocate, June 2009

While good, the 2008 is not up to the standards expected of this Moulis estate.
