This too is attractively spicy with its combination of mineral reduction, acacia blossom and subtle citrus nuances. There is both fine volume and punch to the more concentrated medium-bodied flavors that exude evident minerality on the gorgeously long finish that flashes focused power. This could use a bit more depth, but the underlying material appears to be there and overall, I found this to be quite promising.
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Caillerets wafts from the glass with a pretty bouquet of pear, citrus oil, white flowers and nutmeg. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with a bright spine of acidity and a long, mineral finish. This is decidedly promising.
