Chambolle Musigny, Benjamin Leroux 2019

Tasting Notes

A cool, pure and more elegant if less spicy combination freely offers up attractively floral suffused aromas of both red and dark cherry along with hints of exotic tea and wood. The delicious middle weight flavors possess excellent precision and intensity while exuding a subtle minerality on the refreshing and youthfully austere finish that is on the compact side at present. The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Village is pretty and elegant, mingling aromas of sweet red berries and plums with hints of petals and oak in an inviting mélange. Medium to full-bodied, lively and mineral, with powdery tannins and lively acids, it's a fine effort. 2021 - 2035
