Bright ruby in colour with a fresh and floral nose that is backed with red fruit. There are hints of woody herbs, green peppercorn and dried flowers. The palate is crunchy, with sappy tannins set against more of that wonderful red fruit. A wine of real vibrancy, with an ease and gentle touch that makes it incredibly moreish. Flecks of savoury maturity build towards the finish, adding tones of damp undergrowth and light game, but the fruit remains the prominent tone. Enjoy now, or over the next five years. Offering superb value in a region where it is increasingly difficult to find any.
A fresh, bright and cool nose speaks of pretty red pinot fruit with soft earth nuances. There is excellent energy to the delicious and refreshing flavors that terminate in a lingering finish that flashes hints of rusticity and youthful austerity.
