Tasting Notes

This is relatively ripe '04 that displays no "green meanies" though there is a touch of herbal tea from the stems on the dark berry fruit nose that exhibits only touches of secondary development along with notes of earth and forest floor. There is excellent volume and richness to the big-bodied, powerful and minerally flavors that offer fine length on the reasonably well-balanced finish though there is a touch of warmth. While this could certainly be enjoyed now I would be inclined to allow it another 2 to 4 years of cellar time first.
