Named for shape of Riebeek Mountain, origin of old cinsaut vines. 2019 riper than 2018 (4.5 stars, 91 pts) (’the vines were better buffered against drought’ says Eben Sadie). There’s depth & complexity in its perfume, a sophistication of red fruit & spice, enriched on the well-fleshed palate. Soundly built, the youthful tannins in equilibrium with richness & concentration. Memorable.
