Chorey Les Beaune Bons Ores, Domaine Jean Pierre Guyon 2018

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby colour. White pepper and green spice from wholebunch are matched by succulent red fruit and a little darker hedgerow fruit on the nose. Juicy, full fruit dominates the palate on entry, with hints of blood orange and cherry blossom adding lift. Though this is ripe and round as to be expected in 2018, there is a chalky depth and spicy, savoury complexity. Pure, fine and utterly delicious, the primary notes offer real pleasure now, though there is doubtless intensity and structure to age in bottle.
