Clos Saint Denis, Domaine Stéphane Magnien 2019

Tasting Notes

65 year old vines in the core of the appellation, producing five and a half barrels this year. Dense rich purple, just a light reduction. This is not too heady nor too massive, a touch of liquorice, the finish shows the grand cru quality but the wine is not quite singing yet behind the light reduction. Exceptionally perfumed and persistent and should develop further from here.
