Meursault Petits Charrons, Domaine Arnaud Ente 2013

Tasting Notes

Monsieur Ente’s 2013 Petits Charrons is another excellent example of the vintage, with a bit more reserved personality than the Clos des Ambres, but outstanding potential. The beautiful bouquet offers up a blend of pear, tangerine, almond, a bit of upper register smokiness, lovely soil tones and a topnote of citrus zest. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and tightly-knit, with excellent mid-palate depth, snappy acids and great focus and grip on the very long, soil-driven and youthful finish. It is still very early days for this excellent Petits Charrons, and with sufficient bottle age, this may very well catch the Clos des Ambres. Drink between 2018-2035
