A strikingly elegant, pure and airy nose slowly reveals its aromas of the essence of red pinot fruit, spice and lavender. There is a beguiling delicacy to the still quite punchy flavors that are lacy while delivering beautiful length on the impeccably well-balanced finale. This is a gorgeous Mitans of harmony and grace that should easily reward a decade plus of cellaring.
Fine, but lighter colour, primary fruit, rose petals, sweet light red fruit, raspberry and strawberry, middleweight, but with enough tensile strength. A good wine without quite the serene majesty of the top 1ers crus chez Lafarge.
