Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Domaine Armand Rousseau 1988

Tasting Notes

The expressive nose has now gone almost completely secondary with notes of spice, sous-bois and mature burg aromas nuanced by hints of leather and tea that introduce rich, pretty, thoroughly delicious, velvety and round flavors that are underpinned by ripe and relatively soft tannins on the long, intense finish. This is a fine effort that is drinking notably better than its 750 ml counterpart.
