Richebourg, Domaine Anne-Francoise Gros 1999

Tasting Notes

Almost black in color with explosive fruit that is every bit as spicy as the Echézeaux with classic Richebourg richness, power and length with flavors that are painfully intense yet beautifully pure. There is a bit of toasty oak showing but the extract here is so strong that it should have no trouble integrating the oak over time. Solidly structured, this should enjoy a long, slow evolution.
