Red Hot 2007 Rhones

Farr Vintners recently sent out an offer of highly rated Chateauneuf du Papes from Domaine de la Charbonnière in the fantastic 2007 vintage. The 50 cases each of the single vineyard Hautes Brusquières and Vielles Vignes sold out in about 2 hours and we know that many customers were disappointed to miss out on these highly rated (95 and 94 points) and modestly priced wines.

Domaine d'Eugénie 2008 - better than DRC?!

Farr Vintners is very pleased to announce the release of the third vintage of Domaine d'Eugénie and, once again, we have been offered a precious allocation of these wines. Allen Meadows, who thinks that the 2008s are "surprisingly good" has once again given ratings for these wines that put them ahead of DRC (in both Echezeaux & Grands-Echezeaux) and rates this benchmark Clos de Vougeot the highest rating against the other 40 growers tasted.

Farr Vintners is particularly proud of its selection of ancient Vin Doux Naturels, which have impressed many of our customers in recent tastings.
