An even fresher and brighter nose speaks of the essence of red currant, spice, pretty floral and a discreet hint of wood. There is both excellent density and minerality to the energetic medium-bodied flavors that flash focused power on the more structured finale. This is one to look for if you have at least a modicum of patience. Note: from a mix of 55+ and 70+ year old vines situated in both climats that comprise 1.6 ha
Cask sample. Something a little coconutty about the nose of this. And then it's dry on the end. Sadly, although Marsannay is a speciality here, and I've tasted lots of lovely Marsannay 2020s, this isn’t one of them.
