Tasting Notes

This is sexy, ripe, low-acid, moderate-style St.-Emilion offering notes of savory, lush, concentrated black fruits, smoke, leather, and coffee. Sweet on the attack (from ripeness, not sugar), this pure wine should be drunk over the next eight years. Last tasted, 3/02.

Jammy black fruits cascade from the glass of this opulently textured, low acid, fleshy, hedonistically-styled St-Emilion.
