Tasting Notes

Hints of bay leaf, red and black currants, plums, and graphite are present in this dark ruby/purple-tinged wine. Solidly built and medium-bodied with excellent concentration, it should evolve nicely for a decade. Drink 2010-2020.

A Jonathan Maltus wine. Very deep, concentrated crimson. Sweet palate entry and then fresh leafy flavours. Quite a nice whole at the beginning though swingeing acidity and tannin on the finish. Shame. It started so well. Drink 2014-2018

Red-ruby. Deep aromas of black cherry, tarry dark chocolate and mint. Fat, sweet and plush, with good volume and breadth to the plum, smoke and chocolate flavors. This is plump for the vintage, finishing with good breadth and a note of berry syrup. From a combination of terroirs
