The 2019 Barolo Margheria is a classic Serralunga Barolo. Deep, savory and wonderfully complex, the Margheria offers up a compelling mix of red/purplish fruit, sage, menthol, licorice, dried flowers, graphite and melted road tar. Muscular tannins wrap it all together. The 2019 is seriously impressive. 2027-2044
Aromas of camphor, new leather and rose form the nose along with whiffs of forest berry. Showing intensity and elegance, the full-bodied, focused palate features juicy raspberry, black cherry, baking spice and licorice supported by firm, refined tannins. It’s still young but well balanced, with bright acidity. Drink 2029–2049.
